Vijaya Dasami 2009

The weather today was so...complicated!!
Drizzling, Raining, Windy then back to Sunny Day within a few minutes.. start again the sequence Drizzling, Raining, etc...
The wind was so strong until it blewed up on of my "WHITE" punjabi suit... I have to rewash again =.=

Yesterday, the Vijaya Dasami Celebration, the end of Navaratri Pooja for this year. It's quite heartbreath-taking!!!! Went there with rushing coz Ne wants to start the ceremony with broke the coconut, eventhough there was still so few people there n the prayers hadn't started yet, suddenly we realized hmm not we actually Wimla Ka realized that WE FORGOT TO BRING TO VARSE!!!!" then Akka n I went back to house, around 8 o'clock already. Then, take the varse which is laddu and jelebi.. N it hadn't arranged yet!!!! -_-'

Then, I arranged the laddu n friends, while Wimla Ka fixed her sarees which mixed up!!! Then, we were rushing like hell!!!!! I was thinking to have "doraemon door" again at that time!!!! Finally, we reached Brown Garden around 8.30 p.m for the last three bhajan songs! Huhuhu...

After the arathi, the goddess would be put on swing, and the procession was being done by most of the sisters (will post up the photos later). Then, the "unjal ceremony" began. One by one in line swing the amman. Finally, the ceremony ended with Kumbi dance by all of us!! It's kind of messy, but damn funny when some of us forgot the steps and screwed the dance..hahahahah
fun..fun!!
The celebration was closed by the dinner!

Tips to improve memory!!

1. Don't forget to be aware
We do so many things automatically: We come home, we throw the keys down, we sit down on the couch, we flip on the television — and many of these actions are done without thinking. Then, the next morning, halfway out the front door, we may suddenly realize we have no idea where the keys are.

This exercise is a helpful memory device: Become aware and be observant of everything. Wherever you put your keys, be aware of it. Be conscious of every little action that you do. And as you're doing each thing, you can reinforce it by making a mental note to yourself: "I just put my keys on the kitchen table." When you do this on a daily basis, this will increase your ability to remember things. Sometimes it is not so much that you're aging, it's just that you're too busy to pay attention.

2. Organized in life, organized in mind
When you are organized in your house, you are organized in your mind. Designate a special area for all items. If you take the tool out of the toolbox, always put the tool back in the toolbox where it belongs. Choose a space where you will collect bills or checks — and put them in the same place every time. Having this organization will not only help you remember, it will save precious memory space for you to fill with more important things.

And if you want to not forget to do certain things, make sure you write it down — list-making is another organizational device that helps your memory. Better still, do what you need to do now and don't procrastinate, because memory is fleeting even to the most brilliant, vital person.

3. Seeing is remembering
Another trick to help you to remember things is to see them. Many people are visual and remember better with a visual reminder. If there are certain things that you need to work on, put the document out where you're going to see it and remember to work on it. Or leave yourself a note on the breakfast table where you will be sure to see it. Keep what you need within your visual field and you won't forget!

4. Herbal teas to remember
Many herbs and supplements have been researched and found to help improve your cognitive capabilities. Sit back and let these herbs keep your brain young and your memory sharp:
  • Green tea prevents an enzyme found in Alzheimer's disease and is also rich in polyphenols, antioxidants that help prevent premature brain aging. Drink two cups a day to get the brain benefits.
  • The leaf of the ginkgo tree is shaped like a human brain, and some believe this is why, in Asia, it has always had a reputation of benefiting the mental processes. A dwindling memory and decreased concentration is largely caused by decreased blood flow to the brain and loss of brain cells; ginkgo has been confirmed to boost circulation to the brain and other organs, improving memory and cognitive functions. If you are taking medications, consult your doctor before taking ginkgo.
  • Western medicine has recently become aware of a nutrient extracted from Chinese club moss that helps to improve learning, memory retrieval, and memory retention. The moss, Huperzia serrata, yields a substance called Huperzine A that is similar to drugs used to control Alzheimer's disease. The Chinese have used it to boost memory, and it is usually brewed as tea and given at a dose of one or two cups per day. Look for it in a health food store or Asian grocery. You can steep the moss itself in hot water, one teaspoon per cup, and drink as a tea, or you can take 50 mcg twice a day in capsule form. Because of its potent actions, you should only take Huperzine A under the supervision of your doctor.
  • A customized blend of Chinese herbs, featuring some of the herbs listed above, that promotes a clear and focused mind and a sharp memory is Super Clarity.

We strive together...

Three days after my 21st day!! Life is really a different now. They way it is, and the way I see it. We will move to new house next week. Basically, it is a nursery that we will spend our day and night to make it back to its "glory time" just like in 80s.
I asked then it answered, confused on my own way do I really want to handle the machine or the human. I let God choose it. Then, He gave me the clues which I never realized until now, that by being with human, the life will be more challenging and happy. There is no other greater thing than human being. I chose it. N will concentrate my life n effort on it.
Finally, I will total after long time. Yeah.... I know I'm in right path!!!

Not everybody just like us. Everybody has their own karma and responsibility that has to pay off and done. There is someone there still struggle in his/her life, dunno what to do, afraid to wasting their young age by being useless. Friends, wherever u'r, dun ever lost ur emotion, temper, hurt ur loved ones or even try to commit suicide. Come on, how can by this time, u dun believe God is there!!!
Kaliyuga is going to be end...2012 Sathya Yuga will be started. Make sure you are worthy enough..to life in both yugas.

There is always a lot of ways, "brancies" ways to go to ur aims, ur goals!! First state your goal, what u want to do in next five years. That's really helpful. Then you can plan the way to make it into real.
God Helps People that Help Themselves!!! ( U know it better than me :> )

Please, wake up and answere the call!!!!!!
You and I are not strong person, but if we hold our hands together, no body can defeat us.. TRUST ME!

There were around 182 people that came for the medical checking. We provided eye checking, bp (blood pressure), blood glucose, pap smear, urine, checking plus consultation with the doctors. If the patients need medicine, the camp provided with the medicines that donated by one of the volunteers (doctor). The food also served for the patients during lunch time.
Everything that is done is free, patients didn't have to pay even a single penny and it opened for public...
Service for all the patients are done by doctors and nurses from GH Penang and Sathya Sai Organization Png.

09/09/09

What is so special in 09/09/09... I just found the answers:
  • September 9, 2009, is the 252nd day of the year, 252 adds to 9, and 09-09-09 = 27.

  • 09-09-09 is also the last of the single-digits dates for quite a while - 92 years to be precise. The next single digits date will be until January 1, 2101

  • It is also the upside-down number of "the beast" - satan = 666, of course.

  • The day itself falls on a Wednesday and both Wednesday & September have 9 letters.
  • the sum of the two-digits resulting from nine multiplied by any other single-digit number will equal nine. So 9x3=27, and 2+7=9 or 9x6 = 54, and 5 + 4 = 9.
  • It takes exactly nine minutes for light from the sun to reach the earth.
  • After traveling to the nine corners of the earth, it took Odysseus nine years to get back to Greece
  • Many superstitious people and psychics believe that if you dream about the number nine, a child will soon be brought into your home.
  • According to the Christian angelic hierarchy, there are nine choirs of angels.
  • In Norse Mythololgy, Odin hung himself on an ash tree for nine days, in order to learn the runes.
  • Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting and prayer, is the ninth month of the calendar.
  • A nine-pointed star is used to symbolize the Bahá’í Faith, which symbolizes completeness in the religion.
  • Nine monks are involved in almost every important Buddhist ritual.

- Loving 9 -

Both China and Japan have strong feelings about the number nine. Those feelings just happen to be on opposite ends of the spectrum.

The Chinese pulled out all the stops to celebrate their lucky number eight during last year's Summer Olympics, ringing the games in at 8 p.m. on 08/08/08. What many might not realize is that nine comes in second on their list of auspicious digits and is associated with long life, due to how similar its pronunciation is to the local word for long-lasting (eight sounds like wealth).

Historically, ancient Chinese emperors associated themselves closely with the number nine, which appeared prominently in architecture and royal dress, often in the form of nine fearsome dragons. The imperial dynasties were so convinced of the power of the number nine that the palace complex at Beijing's Forbidden City is rumored to have been built with 9,999 rooms.

****************************************** >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Japanese emperors would have never worn a robe with nine dragons, however.

In Japanese, the word for nine is a homophone for the word for suffering, so the number is considered highly unlucky - second only to four, which sounds like death.

Many Japanese will go so far as to avoid room numbers including nine at hotels or hospitals, if the building planners haven't already eliminated them altogether.

Immigration Office

Today I went to Imigration Malaysia office in Butterworth, I never be there b4, Quite nice office. Wimla Aka wants to extend her permit, so IsWi n me went to 2nd floor where actually all the Malaysian with their foreigners couples were waiting. The process was quite fast.
First we went to first counter where the officer would check the completeness of the forms after that gave us waiting no, then we just waited until the another officer in section 7 called us to gave all the forms.
Then waited again until the officer in section 9 called us to make the payment for visa, I guess it's around RM 110. Then the last round, officer in section 8 would give the passport in visa sticker for one year in it. Process was done, around 30 minutes. This stuffs must be repeated once a year. Now, Wimla ka can work already in Malaysia, since she has been married with Is ane for 3 years.
